entertain the impression that their claims
have been overlooked or needlessly set

The statements which have been made
from time to time in various despatches and
reports have borne high testimony to the
good service done by the cadets of the
Colony.
I have recently received your des-
patch No.547 of the 18th December, which
shows that during 1902 all the passed cadets
and the senior unpassed cadet, when not on
leave, have been holding acting appointments
